Opera grilles are hand cast in aluminum and provided with a natural finish which you may leave natural or paint. They are available with or without screwholes. note: all opera grilles have a ridge on the back unless they are for 2.25 inch width duct openings in which case they are flat.

Black opera grille
opera grilles come in unfinished cast aluminum. If you paint them black like the picture above, it can create a dynamite visual impact!

As you can see, you open the louvers by using a screwdriver. Because of the ornate design of the opera grilles this may be a little awkward...but it is a small price to pay for having such a great looking grille!
